Just back from our trip to Sri Lanka and I can’t thank you enough for such excellent service and support. As you know we were five single girls looking for some time out and what we got was one of the best holidays any of us have been on, not easy for somewhere to impress us regular travellers!

Our guide Niro was fantastic his local knowledge, his English and his personality was so suited to ours we had such fun. He even inspired us to write a song about him which he loved. Sri Lanka is an amazing place my friends keep asking me for my ‘highlight’ and I say it was watching the elephants bath in the river… no it was the Tooth Temple in Kandy… no it was the jeep safari but in truth there was no one highlight but lots so many amazing experiences and the people were so friendly and we were treated like royalty in the Hotels. My favourite place to stay was the Chaaya Village in Habarana though the Milhiem in Nuwara Eliya was also beautiful.

I have already passed on your details to friends looking to go and have said they need to ask if they too can have Niro or ‘super Niro’ as he is know to us.

Again thank you, thank you we are hoping to return in 2013 so we can do the Kandy festival, Yala and oh so much still to see and do!!

Hello Pasindu,

My husband and I have just returned from our holiday in Sri Lanka.
I would just like to inform you of the time we had.

We had a truly marvellous time. Everything worked like a dream. Our accommodation was excellent on all counts. Although we are very glad we changed from the Tangerine hotel. I would like to inform you that there is a lot of work going on in it and it is very shabby, not up to the standard of the Royal Palms beach as we walked to it and had a look. We would have been disappointed if we had stayed there. I think if you are booking anyone into that hotel you should inform them of this.
Every hotel was different and so we cannot say which one we most liked, although the Royal Palms Beach was a really nice place to stay and relax after such a hectic tour. Staying in the hills in the Melhiem resort had stunning views, and we witnessed our first thunderstorm there. We were also given really nice rooms with lovely views in most cases. Although we didn’t have views in Chaaya Village, but we had a lovely villa near the lake.

Our driver Jaga was really nice. He was so helpful and even accompanied us on the walk round Horton Plains... Worlds End, although I didn’t realise the amount of walking involved until I read our book we had with us, and I have to say although I did it, it was very hard going for me as the terrain is quite difficult at times, but Jaga was very good and let me rest and recover from the climbs. He was always punctual and always had a clean car. Nothing was too much trouble for him. He booked us into every hotel, and saw us on to the Train which was first class and met us at the end of our journey. He took us to some very nice places for lunch and some places he showed us en-route which was not on our itinerary. His driving was impeccable at all times. I would like you to pass on this information to whoever it might concern so he gets a good review. A truly wonderful driver and guide.

Sri Lanka is a really nice country to visit and the people were very friendly and pleasant. And we have seen some amazing things.

We did meet up with another couple on the holiday although they stayed in some different places and did some different things at time, who were Lindsey and Stuart, very nice couple, they were going to spend a week in the Maldives. They said they were so pleased with everything too.

I would like to thank you Pasindu for all your hard work in organising the holiday for us and putting up with my emails and requests. I would most certainly be recommending your company to anyone who would like to go.

I cannot remember the name of the representative who came and saw us at the Royal Palms beach, but he knew you and Pradeesh and spoke highly of you both.

Once again a big thank you for a really magnificent holiday.

Hello Guys

I have to let you know we had the most fantastic time on our holiday in Sri Lanka. What a beautiful part of the World!! You did us very proud and we loved it all.

Just from our point of view (because everyone will be different) we could have done without the beach hotel at the end of the holiday and would have preferred to stay in Kandy for a couple more nights just our preference because of the type of people we are and what we like doing.

The Chaaya Citadel hotel was my absolute favourite could have stayed there much longer than one night as too with the Grand Hotel.

Our tour and tour guide made the holiday he was fantastic, Luxman. The tour part of the holiday was definitely the best and I got to see so many elephants which was brilliant.

Many, many thanks for organising this trip for us and we look forward to seeing you in the New Year at the Shows.

We arrived back last night after spending a fascinating week in Sri Lanka.
Everything went really smoothly in terms of arrangements and our chauffeur-guide, Claude, was extremely helpful and informative throughout our stay.
The hotels were good - particularly the Chaaya Citadel in Kandy and the Yala Village Hotel.
Both my husband and I agree that the safaris in Yala were definitely the highlight of the whole week - we saw 5 leopards in one day!
Many thanks to you and your staff for suggesting the itinerary (which gave us a real insight into life and culture in Sri Lanka) and organising everything on our behalf - we are extremely grateful. It will certainly be a holiday to remember.

We are frequent travellers around the world and have therefore experienced many countries and cultures. The change in the Maldives to Bandos Island Resort proved to be an exceptional location and the house reef was superb.

I am writing to thank you for your contribution to yet another successful tour to Sri Lanka by London Schools’ Cricket Association.

Once again the itinerary and fixtures matched our expectations and the players have all benefited considerably from the experience, and not just in cricketing terms.

The players and staff were unanimous in their appreciation of your local staff who ensured that everything went smoothly, despite the best efforts of the unseasonal rain to spoil things. Their ability to re-arrange practice sessions and fixtures at short notice was a real godsend. I know that you were also instrumental in this.

Thank you for sending me the itinerary options for our proposed 2008 tour. Big problem! They all look so good we’re having difficulty agreeing which one we should take.

I am sure, however, that all arguments will be forgotten when the first time tourists sit down for their first drink on the terrace at Mount Lavinia. Can’t wait..
