North India Tour
During this 13 day tour you will visit New Delhi, a vibrant city which reflects the busy life of a modern India. A city where tradition and modernity stand side by side, from monuments of the ancient Crown Colony to present day high rise commercial centres. Travel to Agra and visit the breathtaking Taj Mahal, a monument to eternal love which is also a testament to the rich Indian culture and heritage.
Day 1
Departure to New Delhi from United Kingdom
Day 2 - Arrive Delhi
Evening arrival at Delhi’s international airport. You will be met upon arrival at the airport and transferred to your hotel by air-conditioned deluxe car for your overnight stay.
After breakfast there will be a full day city tour of Old and New Delhi. In the afternoon visit New Delhi.You will visit two monuments from Delhi's past - Qutub Minar and Humanyuns tomb. Your drive takes you past the imposing India Gate and Parliament House. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 3 - Delhi - Agra ( Approx. 205 kms - 4½ hrs drive)
After breakfast depart for Agra, en route there will be a visit the tomb of Emperor Akbar. On arrival at Agra you will check into your hotel and then enjoy a sunset visit to the Taj Mahal.
Day 4 - Agra
After breakfast at the hotel there will be an excursion to the Agra Fort and the city, followed by a visit the world famous Taj Mahal. The evening is free for independent activities.
Day 5 - Agra - Jaipur ( approx. 235 kms - 5 ½ hrs drive)
After breakfast depart for Jaipur, en route you will visit Fatehpur Sikri - the deserted red sandstone city.
Day 6 - Jaipur
After breakfast at the hotel you will depart for a full-day tour of the city including a visit to the Amber Fort and the City Palace Museum.
Day 7 - Jaipur
There are no organised excursions this day so it is free for independent activities.
Day 8 - Jaipur - Jodhpur ( Approx. 290 kms - 7 hrs drive)
After breakfast depart for Jodhpur and upon arrival check into the hotel. The rest of the day is free for independent activities. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 9 - Jodhpur
After breakfast there will be an excursion into Jodhpur - the home of the Rathore rulers. Also included is a visit to the local market to see the hustle bustle of everyday Jodhpur life. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 10 - Jodhpur - Ranakpur - Udaipur (approx. 260 kms - 6 hrs drive)
After breakfast visit the Ranakpur Temple en route to Udaipur. On arrival at Udaipur the rest of the day is free for independent activities. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 11 - In Udaipur
In the morning visit the City Palace Museum, followed late afternoon by a boat cruise on the serene and beautiful Lake Pichola. The island palace on the lake is called Jagmandir Palace and is quite fascinating. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 12 - Udaipur - Delhi ( fly: 1340 / 1600 hrs)
Transfer to the airport to board flight for Delhi. Upon arrival in Delhi you will be transferred to your hotel for check in and overnight stay.
Day 13 - Delhi - London
Transfer to airport for departure to London
