Day 1 - Tuesday
Departure to Mumbai.
Day 2 - Wednesday - Mumbai
Arrive at your hotel in Mumbai, depart in the evening from Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus Mumbai.
Day 3 - Thursday - Jaigadh, Ganapatipule, Ratnagiri and Bhatye Beach.
Morning - Arrival at Bhoke Railway Station. Back Water Cruise from Rai Bhatgaon Jetty followed by lunch at Ganapatipule beach resort. Afternoon sight seeing tour of Ratnagiri town, then board the train at Ratnagiri Railway station.
Day 4 - Friday - Sindhudurg, Tarkarli, Sawantwadi.
Morning - Arrive at Sindhudurg Nagari Railway station. Proceed to Malvan Jetty to visit Sindhudurg Sea Fort. From the jetty you proceed to Tarkarli beach resort for lunch.
After lunch there is a Back Water Cruise followed by a visit to Sawantwadi town. Late in the evening, board the train at Sawantwadi railway station.
Day 5 - Saturday - Goa
Morning - Arrival at Karmali and visit asilica De Born Jesus, Se Cathedral, and the Church of St. Francis of Assissi. Have lunch at Fort Aguada Beach Resort. Continue sight seeing after lunch. Late in the evening, board the train from Madgaon railway station.
Day 6 - Sunday - Pune
Morning - Arrival at Pune, the cultural capital of Maharashtra. Take in Mahatma Phule Mandai, the old central market and Raja Dinkar Kelkar Museum - the Osho International Commune. Lunch at Hotel Le Meridian. In teh afternoon visit the Aga Khan Palace, see the Sound and Light Show at Shaniwarwada. Late in the evening board the train from Pune railway station.
Day 7 - Monday - Aurangabad
Morning - Arrival at Aurangabad station and visit the Daulatabad Fort, followed by the Ellora caves. Enjoy the lunch and cultural programme at Hotel Taj. After lunch, visit to Shivaji Museum. Aurangabad Caves No. 7 & 8, Bibi-ka-Maqbara (a replica of Taj Mahal). Late in the evening, board the train from Aurangabad railway station.
Day 8 - Tuesday - Ajanta and Nashik
After breakfast on board there will be an excursion to World Heritage Site of the Ajanta cave frescoes dating back to 2nd century B.C. Lunch on board. Evening visit Nasik hindu temple town on Holy river Godavari.
Day 9 - Wednesday - Mumbai
Morning - Arrival at CST Mumbai and continue your journey in India or transfer to airport for departure to London.
