Culture et Histoire - Paris

Day 1 - Arrival in Paris

You will be met by a representative of Senses Holiday and transferred to your hotel in Paris
After check in and luggage drop off the driver will take you to the dock for a cruiser/dinner along the Seine
Then return to the hotel en route sight seeing at night; be marvelled by the glamour of the city lights

Day 2 - Art Classique

After breakfast proceeds to Giverny or Auvers sur Oise (only at spring and summer) or visit of Place des Vosges
In Giverny visit Monet’s house, garden and the Fondation Claude Monet. Take place next to the Water Lily Pond, admire Monet’s garden when flowers are in bloom (especially at summertime); increase your senses and let your imagination speak
In Auvers sur Oise discover all places which inspire artists like Van Gogh, Daubigny, Cezanne and more. Visit Van Gogh house and Auvers castle, and then sight seeing of painting places
In Paris visit “La place des Vosges” inaugurated for the wedding of Louis XIII and Anne of Austria. You will discover “le pavillon du Roi” and “le pavillon de la Reine”. This buildings were also the residence of many french personalities like Victor Hugo, Alphonse Daudet or Cardinal Richelieu
Then lunch at Auvers sur Oise or Giverny. In Paris lunch at “l’Ambroisie”
After lunch have a free time to enjoy the city by yourself, walking, shopping or getting rest
In the evening dinner will takes place in the amazing “Jaquemart Andree” Museum. Enjoy a traditional French “cuisine” in this wonderful palace
Also a visit of the museum at night can be organised with a English speaking guide
Then return to the hotel

Day 3 - Art Contemporain

After breakfast and check out sight seeing of Paris, make this moment memorable with all the photos stops
Then Lunch in Paris nearby the Orsay Museum
Visit of Orsay Museum. This museum of contemporain art takes place in an old rail station and his known for its extensive collection of impressionist masterpieces
Then proceed to the airport or rail station
