Each room has a double or twin beds, telephone, hairdryer, tea/coffee making facilities, TV, Safety deposit box, air-conditioning, terrace area, open-air private shower. Some bungalows are located opposite the small sea wall which has been installed to protect the island from the effects of erosion.

The main restaurant at Meedhupparu seats 430 guests in comfort three times a day. The balance of these three grand Ayurvedic life principles is achieved in significant measure through diet. All dishes served at Meedhupparu Ayurveda Restaurant are classified in terms of the vatha, pitha and kapha attributes and carefully marked so that each guest may choose dishes appropriate to his or her constitution.

Bait fish, weights, lines and hooks are all provided. Our friendly boat crews will be on hand to make your night fishing experience a truly special one.

Your night’s catch may be served at dinner in the restaurant the following evening, upon request, up to a limit of two fish per person.
