Dear Pradeesh
Just to let you know that we returned safely from our Sri Lanka/Maldives trip last night.
We are frequent travellers around the world and have therefore experienced many countries and cultures. We feel that our trip to Sri Lanka must rate as one of our best adventures as the diversity of what we did coupled with the beautiful scenery, the very friendly Sri Lankans, the excellent hotels and our driver/guide Lala (who was exceptional and has become a good friend) made the trip very rewarding and special. Lala is an incredible asset to your company and probably like most of your driver/guides is a very good naturalist. However, we feel they would benefit from having binoculars (even though their eyesight is exceptional) and a good bird book. The cost to Jet Wings would be very small compared to the benefits provided.
Whilst we were in Sri Lanka there was a bomb on a bus in Colombo which was discovered by a passenger who alerted the driver and everyone left the bus safely before it was driven to a remote site. In Yala National Park, there is an army camp but we felt this made the situation more reassuring than alarming. It is a shame that the Foreign Office website is causing British tourists to avoid Sri Lanka as we believe that so long as you do not go to the troubled areas it is entirely safe and at no time did we feel any form of apprehension.
The change in the Maldives to Bandos Island Resort proved to be an exceptional location and the house reef was superb.
We would therefore like to thank you and your company for arranging our holiday and putting together an itinerary which ran like clockwork. We look forward to arranging our next trip to Sri Lanka with you in the not too distant future.
Best Wishes
Sally & Derek Howes
Just to say we enjoyed our Sri Lanka trip enormously!
All your arrangements were excellent and upto our expectations.
The driver guide Lalajith was very helpful and looked after us well.
The hotels were very good too.
We wish we had taken your suggestion to stay at St Andrews Hotel at Nuwara Eliya and not Grand Hotel:
may be the deluxe rooms might have been better, any how it is a bit stuffy and colonial!
We may go back one day again!
Thank you and best wishes.

I am writing to thank you for your contribution to yet another successful tour to Sri Lanka by London Schools' Cricket Association.
Once again the itinerary and fixtures matched our expectations and the players have all benefited considerably from the experience, and not just in cricketing terms.
The players and staff were unanimous in their appreciation of your local staff who ensured that everything went smoothly, despite the best efforts of the unseasonal rain to spoil things. Their ability to re-arrange practice sessions and fixtures at short notice was a real godsend.
I know that you were also instrumental in this.
Thank you for sending me the itinerary options for our proposed 2008 tour. Big problem !. They all look so good we're having difficulty agreeing which one we should take.
I am sure, however, that all arguments will be forgotten when the first time tourists sit down for their first drink on the terrace at Mount Lavinia. Can't wait.
Best Regards
